Season 1

The new school term begins at Cityview High, introducing a diverse group of students: Chinasa, Salewa, Layla, Elijah, Ahmad, Andrew, Victory, Diane, Ivy, and Isaac. The episode builds the world of the students through their family dynamics, social hierarchies, and personal aspirations. Chinasa, the new girl, arrives from Enugu and struggles to fit in. Meanwhile, Layla hides a complicated home life and a secret relationship. A party at Ahmad’s house sets the stage for future conflict, especially as tensions rise when Mr. Marcus, a young teacher, shows inappropriate interest in a student.
