Mini-cab driver Dougie Molloy starts a relationship with divorcee Maggie to the fury of her daughter Scarlett, who tries to split them up. When Scarlett disappears after the couple get married, Dougie finds himself accused of murder.

The tangled web of lies involving Dougie Molloy, Maggie Shields and Christopher Veazey become more complicated. Maggie is desperate to get her daughter back and starts to wonder who she can trust.
