Hit the Wall by Ike Holter originally premiered at Steppenwolf in 2012 as an honest portrayal of the Stonewall riots. This re-imagining brings prominent actors to 1969 in the wake of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.

Ryan Bingham is a happily, unmarried man who fires people for a living, flying all over the world on contract to do so. His views are challenged by Natalie, a young graduate who brings his boss an idea: firing people over video conference.
