Lise's career as a TV host is put to the test when her program is threatened with closure, on the same day that she is to act as godmother to her cousin's daughter.

Lise's idea has given Denmark Awakes a chance to survive, and the editors are struggling to find a new, younger path for the program.

Lise forgets Martin's birthday and the atmosphere between them is strained; the editors have doubts about Lise's idea about Johannes' lifestyle.

Johannes is now employed as a chef on the program; Lise gets answers to a DNA test, which indicates that she has a family that she doesn't know about.

Lise and Martin try to give their marriage a romantic facelift. It is disrupted by Ingrid's lie and Lise gets the truth out of Inger that she has been hiding for a long time.

Lise makes a confession to Martin. At the same time, there is great disagreement in the editorial office, but Lise gets support from an unexpected side.

Lise and the rest of Denmark Awakes are testing a new concept with a good response; Lise seeks out Johannes.

Denmark Awakes has a visit from all the previous hosts; Lise performs with more words than noted on her cue card.
