Princess Poppyseed's life on her familys farm is far from the glamorous world of her favorite pop singer Vanna Banana. On a chance meeting Vanna & Princess cross paths and realize they look almost exactly alike which leads to the crazy notion that maybe they could switch lives! The plot and action are taken directly from the Rankin/Bass stop motion animated Christmas special of the same name, with some elements from the biblical Nativity of Jesus.

Sara Crewe moves from Africa to London with her father. He goes off to war, so he sends her to a prestigious boarding school where she is under the strict direction of the headmistress. She is bullied by her classmates and becomes friends with an eccentric girl and one of the young servants. Sara is notified of the death of her father and as the loss of his fortune, but is allowed to stay at the boarding school but as a servant. She shares the food she receives with others and reads the Bible to her friends. One of her father's friends searches for her unsuccessfully. Later, he befriends a poor servant girl that lives next door, only to find out that it is Sara and adopts her.

Thingamabob (Bob the Tomato), Vogue (Petunia Rhubarb), S-Cape (Mr. Lunt) and Ricochet (Junior Asparagus) all reveal their superhero personas to LarryBoy and Alfred (Archibald Asparagus), and team up to take on Dr. Flurry, who is determined to freeze the town in fear.

The main story is an adaptation of the Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builders. The three pigs are looking for a building contractor. Larry the Cucumber builds with hay and Mr. Lunt builds with bricks. Only Bob the Tomato follows plans from the Master Builder's Handbook.

Bob and Larry are going all out to make it the best Christmas ever at the Spring Valley Mall. With music, decorations and a light show like no other, it's an all-out spectacle to outshine the competition!
