A miniature film set to classical music inspired by the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The chessboard transforms into a salon floor, where animated pawns and figures take the shape of court characters and begin their game to the rhythm of a minuet. However, it turns out that the game of chess is replaced by court intrigue – a planted letter leads to a duel over a woman, which is interrupted by the queen's intervention.
