Giant Beast Planet

Tsuburaya productions have got a lot of notoriety for the tokusatsu shows like ULTRAMAN. Men in monster suits, miniature buildings, and vehicles. The animation was used for lasers, lightning, and fire. Stop-motion animation was made when it is necessary. In this project, THE GIANT BEAST PLANET, they are combining 2D animation with stop-motion animation and this was going to be used in later works as BORN FREE DINOSAUR EXPEDITION (1976), and IZENBORG ACE (1977). The stop-motion monsters in this film were created and animated by Minoru Kujari.
