Man in Charge

Set during the Qing Dynasty of China in the mid 18th century, the drama tells the story of a stubborn official adviser, Chau Bing, and his relationship with the young county official, Shum Kwan-Pok. Bing obtains a secure job as Kwan-Pok's private adviser and the two become good friends. They both try to root out corruption within the Manchu government.

He brings POK to his uncle’s house and kills his uncle. He puts POK in jail as well. PING escapes successfully and he sneaks into the prison to meet POK. POK accuses PING for setting him up but PING thinks that POK is responsible for his actions. The emperor eventually releases POK but he sends him to a remote place to look after the horses.
